I married early in life at the age of 17. Marriage only lasted a few months. Reasons I wont go into. A baby girl came from the marriage, but wasnt allowed to see her. Neve really knew why, just was that way. When she was 37 years old, her mom passed away and I caught wind of it. I went to the obituaries and looked up the name, and found my daughters name listed there. I looked up the number, and called. When she came on the line, I had no idea what to say, but gave my condolences. She ask who I was, and silence came on the line. I say Wayne. She ask Wayne who,,and as I said my last name, I heard a break in her voice. It was a moment I had waited for for many years. We did meet, and about 5 weeks into the getting to know each other, she ask for a DNA test. She was curious, and had alot of rights to be. At first, I was divistated, but eventually came around. I ordered the test, we took the samples, and sent them off. After several weeks, the results came in. My heart broke into. The results were 0%. It was conclusive,, I wasnt her daddy. Its been about 5 months,,,,and it has come to an end. The little girl I always loved,,,wasnt my little girl. She has made it very difficult the past few months. I suppose its time I burn this bridge and move on. There is alot more to tell, but this is the story in a nutshell. 38 years of loving someone,,gone in a flash. How do I handle it now? Life wasnt all bad tho,,I did remarry, I have 3 wonderful children and now 4 beautiful grandchilden. I live a good portion of my life in Texas,,mostly the Houston area.
